Water heaters, cooling towers, hot and cold water systems,
spa pools and stagnant water can provide ideal conditions
for the growth of Legionnaires’ disease bacteria (LDB).
Employers and Landlords are required by law to carry out
a suitable and su昀케cient risk assessment of the potential
presence of LDB. With this in mind, Brannan has developed
a kit to help assess the likelihood of the presence of LDB
by measuring the temperature of water in pipes and tanks
forming part of water systems.
