UKAS (0582) accredited laboratory
Our facilities conform to (BS) EN ISO/IEC 17025 : 2017 – ‘General
requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’.
Certi昀椀cation is available for test temperatures between -60°C and 250°C.
Certi昀椀cates are produced with reference to the International Temperature
Scale of 1990 (ITS-90).

Calibration certi昀椀cates traceable to national standards
In addition to our UKAS (0582) accredited calibration laboratory, we have the capability
of providing calibration certi昀椀cates traceable to national standards, with the calibration
process being carried out following documented methods and procedures.
Brannan operate a quality management systems within the scope of ISO 9001:2008
ensuring traceable calibrations are carried out to the highest quality. This traceability
is independently audited in order to maintain our BS EN ISO 9001:2008 certi昀椀cation.

Traceable certi昀椀cates list any standards used to perform the calibration, providing
documented traceability to national standards.
In many cases a traceable calibration satis昀椀es the requirements of a customer, but it is
always worth checking with your accrediting body if this is su昀케cient or whether a UKAS (0582) calibration is needed.
